In the course of development of more than 10 years, Kingho Group always regards technological innovation and research and development as the core of its sustainable development. Since 2005, the group spent more than 10 million yuan in establishment of “Research Center of Coal Chemical Industry” in Inner Mongolia, Qinghai and Ningxia with their technology capacity and equipments ranking the forefront of the industry.

To maintain a powerful research and development, the group has also entered agreements of “Corporate-sponsored Training for Specific Posts ” and “Field Training and Practice Bases” with Yinchuan University, Inner Mongolia Industrial University, Lanzhou Petrochemical College of Vocational Technology and other higher education institutes so as to guarantee the quality and quantity of professional and technical personnel inside the group.

Through a series of project construction, Kingho Group has formed strategic partnership or long term business relationship with research and design institutes at home and aboard such as China Coal Research Institute, Tsinghua University, Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Sedin Engineering Co.,Ltd.(originally known as The Second Design Institute of Chemical Industry), Dalian University of Technology, Tianyi Technology (Southwest Research Institute of Chemical Industry), Uhde Engineering Technology Co.,Ltd.. It provides external intellectual support and security for the development of the whole group.

Since 2009, as the coal-gas and coal-based polygeneration project has stretched out, in order to get the key techniques with independent intellectual property rights and play its due role as a demonstration project, Kingho Group has carried forward all round cooperative development together with several research and design institutes at home and aboard in terms of modern coal chemical technology and GHG reduction technology.
